What we collect from each provider
Providers describe their appetite on one standard profile, so you can compare them like for like:
| Field | What it means |
|---|---|
| Verticals accepted | Industries the provider actively onboards |
| Licences accepted | Merchant licences it accepts, for example MGA, Curaçao or CySEC |
| Markets served | Countries and regions where it can take payments |
| Pay-in and payout methods | Cards, local methods (UPI, PIX, SPEI, SEPA) and crypto |
| Settlement | Currencies, including stablecoins, and settlement cycle |
| Volume range | Minimum and maximum monthly volume it takes on |
| Pricing and reserve ranges | Indicative ranges; final terms come from underwriting |
| Onboarding | Typical days to go live, documents, and whether new merchants are accepted |
Fields shown as “On request” have not been confirmed by the provider yet.
What “Verified” means
A Verified badge means we have:
- Checked the company’s registration and the licences or registrations it states, on the public register where one exists
- Spoken with the provider’s team
- Received its appetite (verticals, licences, markets, methods, volumes) in writing
- Re-confirmed the profile within the last six months
Pending means the profile is based on the provider’s own information and we have not finished these checks. Verification is about the listing being accurate. It is not an endorsement or a guarantee that a provider will approve you.
How matching works
Matching, including the Find my provider quiz, runs in two stages.
1. Hard requirements
A provider is only shown if it accepts your vertical and serves your main market. If a volume range is published, your monthly volume must fall inside it.
2. Fit score
| Signal | Effect on order |
|---|---|
| Payment methods you need that the provider supports | More overlap ranks higher |
| Your licence is on its accepted list | Ranks higher |
| Payouts supported when you need them | Ranks higher |
| Verified profile | Ranks higher than Pending |
Nothing else affects the order. Fees paid to Approvd and ownership never change the score. Ties are shown in alphabetical order.
Merchant requests board
The merchant requests board shows anonymised demand so providers can see what merchants need. We publish vertical, licence type, markets, volume band, payment methods and need. We never publish merchant names, websites or contact details.
Sample listings
While we onboard our founding providers, some listings are marked “(demo)”. These are examples for illustration only. Pages that contain sample listings are kept out of search engines until the data is real.
Updates and corrections
Providers can update their profile at any time, and we re-confirm verified profiles at least every six months. If you see something wrong, tell us and we will check and correct it.
How we earn money is explained on how we get paid.
