iGaming payments
Online casinos, slots, live dealer and sportsbook operators: get matched with PSPs, acquirers and local payment method providers that already process iGaming, with both deposits and payouts.
An iGaming payment provider is a PSP, acquirer or alternative payment method provider that processes player deposits and withdrawals for online casinos, sportsbooks and other real-money gaming operators. Mainstream gateways such as Stripe and PayPal exclude most gambling, so operators work with specialist high-risk providers.
No single provider covers every licence and country. One PSP accepts Curaçao-licensed casinos in Latin America but not in Europe; another takes MGA operators with cards and open banking but has no PIX. Most operators therefore run several providers at once: a primary card processor, local payment methods per market, a crypto rail and at least one backup so the cashier never goes dark.
We collect all of this once and send each provider exactly what its underwriting team needs.

Coverage differs by provider. We only match you with providers that support the markets and methods you need.
| Market | Common methods | What providers look for |
|---|---|---|
| Europe | Cards, SEPA Instant, open banking, e-wallets | MGA and local licences drive acceptance |
| United Kingdom | Debit cards, Faster Payments, open banking | UKGC licence required; credit cards are banned for gambling |
| Brazil | PIX, cards | Federal betting licence required since January 2025 |
| Mexico & LATAM | SPEI, OXXO, PSE, cards | Rules differ by country |
| Canada | Interac, cards | Ontario requires an iGaming Ontario registration |
| Global | Crypto (BTC, USDT), e-wallets | Often used as a second rail and for payouts |
We do not place real-money gaming merchants that target players in India. India’s Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025 bans online money games and bars payment facilitation for them.
Issuers decline gambling MCC 7995 transactions, so card approval rates swing by country and bank. Local APMs and routing fix most of this.
A single closure stops the cashier. Operators that keep a backup PSP live keep taking deposits.
Players judge a casino by withdrawal speed. Providers differ widely in payout rails and cut-off times.

Specialist high-risk PSPs, acquirers and alternative payment method providers accept online casinos. Each one has its own appetite for licences, countries, payment methods and volumes, so the right provider depends on where you are licensed and where your players are. Approvd matches you with providers that already process operators like you.
Yes. Many high-risk providers accept Curaçao-licensed operators, but usually only for certain markets and often with a rolling reserve. Under Curaçao’s licensing reform, providers increasingly ask for the new licence rather than a sub-licence, so have your licence documents ready.
Gambling transactions use MCC 7995, which many issuing banks block or score as high risk, and some countries restrict gambling payments entirely. Operators raise approval rates by adding local payment methods, routing across several PSPs and using 3-D Secure.
Most do, but payout coverage varies by country and method. Some providers only handle deposits, so check that the provider supports payouts on the same rails your players use, such as PIX, SEPA Instant, Interac or crypto.
Most operators run at least two or three: a primary card processor, local payment methods for each key market and a backup provider. This protects deposits if one provider closes your account, caps your volume or has an outage.
Yes, some providers accept new operators, usually with lower volume caps, a higher rolling reserve or extra checks. A complete application with licence, ownership, AML/KYC and responsible gaming policies makes the biggest difference.
