About Approvd, the marketplace for high-risk payments

Approvd (approvd.money) helps businesses that mainstream gateways turn away find payment providers that actually want them, and helps providers find merchants that fit their appetite.

What Approvd does

Approvd is a payment provider marketplace. Merchants tell us their vertical, licence, markets, payment methods and volume. Payment providers publish the same appetite. We match the two, prepare the merchant’s application, and introduce them only when the merchant approves.

What Approvd is not

  • Not a payment processor, bank or acquirer. We never hold merchant funds. Payment providers process payments and make all underwriting decisions.
  • Not a lender or business-funding company. We do not offer loans, lines of credit or cash advances.
  • Not a paid ranking. Providers cannot buy a better position. See how we get paid.

Who we focus on

Our core verticals are iGaming, Forex and Crypto, followed by Gambling & Betting, E-commerce, Finance and Adult. Our main markets are Europe, the United Kingdom, Brazil, Mexico and Latin America, India and Canada.

How we work

  1. Consent first. Nothing about a merchant is shared with a provider until the merchant approves that introduction.
  2. Same rules for everyone. Every provider is listed and matched under the rules on our methodology page.
  3. Disclosure. We say how we earn money and which provider we share owners with (FalconPay).
  4. No shortcuts. We never rent accounts, disguise a business or help anyone evade the MATCH list.

Guides and resources

We publish free guides on what to do after a Stripe closure or PayPal limitation, how rolling reserves and the MATCH list work, and why applications get rejected. Our editorial policy explains how they are written. All guides.
